The Women's Shelter of South Texas is always grateful to those who donate to our cause. We often have such an outpouring of donation and aid that we can't even store it all! For those interested in donating to our Agency, we have included the methods of donation and a list of the most need items.

Monetary Donations

Donations of money are always welcome, especially since these donations can be utilized wherever it is most needed. Our two most popular methods are online through PayPal and by check or money order.

Donate Materials

The Women's Shelter of South Texas is always in need of certain items, and will always accept donations of items in the list below.

1. Scrubs in one size fits all (tops & bottoms)
2. Fitted sheets in twin & full size
3. Diapers in sizes 5 & 6
4. Baby sundries (bottles, baby wipes, etc.)
5. School Supplies

Due to our limited space, there are some donations we simply cannot accept. In order to address this issue, we have an arrangement with Goodwill Industries of South Texas, wherein we donate our overflow donations to them and they allow our clients to shop with vouchers.

Being an advocate of domestic and sexual violence awareness is not easy. Our society values privacy and personal freedoms, and are slow to interfere in others lives. However, domestic and sexual violence has no right to be in anyone's life, public or private. We must challenge our comfort zones when confronted with violence threatened against ourselves or others.
